So after 3 months of lockdown, my elder daughter Emma returned to London at the weekend having had to put up with me droning on about Latin for hours on end. I put her through her paces on adjectives, and with a few little hiccoughs, she pretty much smashed it. So, there’s hope for this dead language yet!
